Elton John is so confident in Mark Ronson and Lady Gaga‘s chances at the Academy Awards that he’s willing to hand over the deed to his home if they don’t win a little gold statuette on Feb. 24.

In the most recent episode of John’s Rocket Hour radio show on Beats 1, Sir Elton gushed about Ronson’s collaboration with Gaga for A Star Is Born, and expressed how sure he was that they’d add to their collection of awards for the track.

“I’ll bet my house you’re gonna win an Oscar,” he told Ronson via FaceTime. “I don’t want to jinx it, but I guarantee you, you’re gonna win an Oscar.”

Ronson, who took the call while finishing up working on his collaboration with Alicia Keys in her studio, thanked John for the compliment and vote of confidence. He also spoke of the special connection John and Gaga have — Gaga is godmother to John and David Furnish’s two sons — and recalled how badly he wanted John’s approval of the material he and Gaga were working on back when they were recording Joanne, which he produced.
